Ingredients

1¼ lbs ground turkey (or chicken) 

1 Tbsp olive oil

10 Gluten Free slider buns, (alternatively use any bread in mini format) 

1 Tbsp whole Grain Mustard or 1 tsp. mustard powder

1 Tbsp Tamari (gluten free soya sauce) 

1 Tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tsp paprika or chili powder

1 Tbsp minced garlic

1 Tbsp minced onion

1 Tbsp minced cilantro (optional) 

½ tsp sea salt

½ tsp black pepper

3 Slices English Cheddar Cheese Slices, cut in half

 

Optional Toppings*:

Italian Cherry tomatoes 

2 Tbsp Branston pickle or Relish (optional) 

Baby gem lettuce 

dijon mustard

Veganaise 

 

What to do

Preheat grill pan medium-high or pre heat frying pan to medium high heat. Add touch of olive oil. 

In a large bowl, mix turkey or chicken, mustard, and tamari, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt and pepper. Set aside to marinate for 1 hour.  Divide the mince meat into 10 balls and slightly flatten.

Place the them on grill and cook covered until desired doneness (about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through). Add cheese 2 minutes before removing from the grill, so the cheese melts. 

Serve on warmed mini buns top with optional toppings and enjoy.

Optional : can also do without bun ontop of salad
