Remember biology class? Chlorophyll is the green pigment present in plants resembling their blood. It is the pigment that absorbs sunlight and makes food for the plants through a process known as photosynthesis, this helps the plant create ‘energy’. This pigment is similar in molecular structure to human blood, the only difference is that its main component is magnesium whereas human blood main component ir iron.

The marketing of chlorophyll liquid is actually a substance called chlorophyllin. As chlorophyll is fat souluble and chlorophyllin is water soluble making it easier to assimilate into the body. Thus the benefits are enhanced faster than normal.
Green promotes Alkaline states in the body and seeing as we humans thrive more on a alkaline body, it creates an environment that pathogens and cancer can’t survive in. However more research into this area is needed.
