The class will kick off with a lecture covering the following topics, what is health, what are healing foods, food as medicine, process of detoxification, how to reboot your system, the yogic view on cleansing, fasting, plant based nutrition, food pyramids, obesity, acid/alkaline, ayurveda, the gunas, act of eating, how much to eat.
The class will then move forward to demo style cooking led by Chef Lakshmi. She will cover basic nut milks, coffee substitutes, fresh juices, smoothies, detox blends and formulas, Ayurvedic Spice teas, Staple dishes for detox, healthy forms of desserts.
