VATA TEA

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups (375 ml) water

1 cinnamon stick

1 licorice stick

1/4 teaspoon cardamom

1/2 teaspoon ginger powder, or a 1-inch (1 cm) piece of fresh ginger, chopped

 

What to do;

Combine water with spices and boil for 5-10 minutes. Strain out the spices and drink.

 

DETOX TEA 

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups (375 ml) water

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds

1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds

 

What to do;

Combine water with spices and boil for 5-10 minutes. Strain out the spices and drink. This tea is great for strengthening digestion and gently detoxifying the whole body.

 

AMA- REDUCING TEA

 

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups (375 ml) water

1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger powder or 1. teaspoons chopped fresh ginger

Freshly squeezed lemon juice

Pinch rock salt

1 1/2 teaspoons honey

 

What to do;

Boil water with ginger for 5-10 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute and add lemon juice and a pinch of rock salt. When the temperature of the water has cooled down enough that you can handle keeping your finger in the water, stir in honey. This tea gently and effectively breaks up undigested food and promotes healthy elimination.
