Sweet Lassi

Serves 4

Lassi is an Ayurvedic drink to be served during or after a meal. It aids digestion

and is good for all doshas. Mixing yogurt with water makes it easily digestible.

1 ó cups (375ml) fresh yogurt

3 cups (750ml) water

Few saffron strands

ó teaspoon cardamom powder

ó teaspoon rose water

1 tablespoon honey or sugar

 

What to do; 
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend thoroughly for 30 seconds. Alternatively, shake in a bottle with the lid on, or whisk until the lassi is well blended and frothy.
Diluting the yogurt with more water makes it lighter for digestion.

Digestive Lassi

Serves 1

ó cup (125ml) fresh yogurt

ó cup (125ml) water

Pinch salt

Pinch black pepper

Pinch cumin powder

Pinch ginger powder

What to do; 

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend thoroughly for 30 seconds.
