1ó cups (375 ml) coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
ó cup (125 ml) raw cashews
2 tablespoons crushed fresh ginger
2 or more tablespoons yogurt
2 tablespoon freshly-squeezed lemon juice
2 teaspoons honey or sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
What to do;
Puree all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Add more yogurt if the mixture is too dry.
Variations: Add fresh green chilies for extra spicing.
Replace the cilantro with parsley or mint.
